When I started taking portraits I noticed that I always got shots of people's shoes. Whether it was a test shot to set up lighting or my settings, my eyes are just drawn there. This says a lot about me as a photographer and an individual as well. I love to people watch and I'm always looking at their shoes!
Well now I know, what kind of shoes they are walking in says a whole lot about them, where they've been, and their personality. A rugged shoe with mud around the edges says that they must be a hard worker. Simple soft pattened Mary Jane's, well it's a little curly headed country girl. Can you guess that bright white sneakers with not a speck of dust on them, belongs to a teenage guy who has pride in his look? Athletic shoes, flip flops, or sexy high heels, you see, I already know half their story. What type of shoes are you?
